Risk Managers (2 Positions)
Reporting to our Vice President of Risk Management, your responsibilities will include the following:
- Manage the Enterprise-wide Risk Management (ERM) program for MediaCorp in terms of development, implementation and promotion of its policies and framework
- Play an active role in managing risks from both pure and speculative perspectives through conducting risk assessment, formulating risk management strategy, etc.
- Work with business units to ensure compliance with our corporate risk management policy as well as review their risk tolerance levels to improve the risk management practices
- Study the adequacy and effectiveness of existing risk management infrastructure, resources and system to ensure risks are appropriately mitigated
- Perform risk monitoring and manage risk score card database as well as prepare critical periodic risk reports to management
- Upgrade risk management skill set and business knowledge continuously so as to enhance the risk management practices.
Job Requirements
- Good computing skill, analytical, proactive and is able to work under pressure
- Strong interpersonal and advisory skills with the ability to influence, persuade and communicate with all levels
- Strong project management, pragmatic and good administrative skill
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
- Practical experience in implementing Six Sigma, TQM, COSO or AS/NZS 4360 will be an advantage
- Degree/diploma in Information Technology, Engineering or Accountancy
Additional Requirements (Position 1)
- Possess good knowledge in business continuity management (BCP)
- 3 years of auditing experience in information services or engineering system processes or 3 years of experience in information systems management
- Preferably with 2 years of working experience in business implementation of ISO 17799. Possessing a MCBP or CBCP will be an advantage.
Additional Requirements (Position 2)
- Possess good knowledge in financial risk management.
- 3 years of experience in auditing, financial management or business development.
- Preferably with 2 years of practical experience in ERM audit. Possessing a CRMP or ARM will be an advantage.
